Job summary

The Learning Experience in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a nurturing Toddler Teacher to guide early childhood learning and development. You will create engaging, age-appropriate activities that support language, social skills, and cognitive growth in a supportive classroom environment.

Lead daily routines, implement the LEAP curriculum, and collaborate with families to foster children's independence. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler Teacher qualified.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Toddler classroom.
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Create age-appropriate activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration.
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Encourage independence and developing self-help skills.
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance.
• Observe developmental progress and maintain required documentation.

Toddler Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Gaithersburg, MD

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Gaithersburg is seeking a nurturing and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Toddlers are developing new words, independence, confidence, and social skills every day. We're looking for an educator who can provide the structure and nurturing support young children need while turning their natural curiosity into meaningful opportunities to learn and grow.
