Job summary

Discovery School House in Leicester, MA is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our caring team. You will design and deliver age-appropriate activities, support daily routines, and foster a warm, safe classroom environment.

You will communicate with families about development, observe milestones, and collaborate with colleagues to keep a clean, organized space where toddlers can thrive.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in early childhood education, daycare, or toddler care preferred.
• Knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements.
• Completion of the EEC essential trainings.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma required; degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus.
• EEC teacher certification preferred.
