Maes Learning Academy in Hopewell, VA is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. This role offers an opportunity to nurture young minds in a safe, engaging environment.

You will plan age‑appropriate activities, monitor development, and communicate regularly with families while collaborating with colleagues to meet academy goals and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with toddlers or young children in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Virginia childcare licensing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Early Childhood Education degree preferred.
