Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking an Associate Lead Teacher for the Toddler program (12–18 months). You will collaborate with the Lead Teacher to create a warm, developmentally appropriate classroom, supporting growth and a love of learning while maintaining safety and division ratios.

The role requires at least one year of Early Childhood classroom experience, a relevant degree or credential, and a 40-hour work week from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood or Child Development.
• Valid Child Development Associate Credential with 480 hours in the field.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement daily lessons, activities, and routines that promote development.
• Support classroom management and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Build positive, responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Assist with documentation, assessments, and progress reports to track student development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding classroom activities and student growth.
• Attend staff and parent meetings as needed.
• Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet varying needs and interests.
