Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to support and lead the Toddler program. You will plan activities aligned with curriculum objectives, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate progress with parents.

The role requires teamwork with staff and volunteers, adherence to licensing regulations, and the ability to implement program goals in a dynamic, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Three years of planning and implementing child development activities preferred.
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles and practices.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Ability to work with diverse families and manage classroom behavior.
• Complete mandatory trainings including CPR and First Aid Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Toddler program according to curriculum objectives and philosophy.
• Plan long- and short-range activities and coordinate field trips.
• Maintain records, attendance, time sheets, and licensing compliance.
• Communicate with parents through bi-annual reports and conferences.
• Supervise assistants, aides, and volunteers in the classroom.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate environment.
