Cadence Education in Valencia, CA is seeking a Toddler Lead Teacher to create a warm, welcoming classroom and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers. Under supervision of the School Director, you will model professionalism, ensure safety, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred depending on credentials.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in licensed childcare.
• CDA, CCP, EEC or NAC credentials may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom where every child is treated with dignity, respect, and care.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families through daily greetings and communication.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom following Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Document and report accidents and escalated behaviors per policy and licensing.
