The Malvern School is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Malvern. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, located at 250 Paoli Pike, Malvern, PA 19355.

You will plan and implement a superior Early Childhood program, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and communicate regularly with parents to meet expectations and foster development.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Alternate path: bachelor's with 30 ECE credits and 1 year experience.
• Alternate path: associate degree with 30 ECE credits and 3 years experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the follow criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
