Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment and to deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy. You will lead classroom operations, support children with diverse needs, and partner with families to promote each child’s growth.

The role requires collaboration, adherence to safety policies, and engagement in ongoing professional development. Relevant licensing and background checks are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in licensed childcare centers.
• Minimum 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred depending on education and credentials.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. Treat every child with dignity, respect, and care.
• Build positive relationships with children and families, including daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom following Cadence Safety & Supervision Manual.
• Accurately document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy.
