Job summary

The Goddard School Saint Peters seeks a passionate Lead Teacher to implement our Wonder of Learning curriculum and lead daily activities for young children. You will foster a nurturing, safe classroom and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Applicants should hold a high school diploma with a preference for an associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. CDA is a plus; prior licensed childcare experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential is preferred but not required.
• Experience with licensed childcare or preschool settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate openly with families about child progress and activities.
• Supervise children to uphold health, safety standards and licensing requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
