Job summary

The Malvern School is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom at The Malvern School of Westtown. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. 7am - 4:30pm

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree plus 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
