Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to nurture young minds and foster their development in our vibrant early education program. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's social, emotional, and intellectual growth, especially for preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Implement and modify age-appropriate lesson plans using our curriculum
- Foster a safe, positive classroom atmosphere encouraging self-expression
- Facilitate arts, music, storytelling, and outdoor activities for holistic development
- Assess and document children's progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the educational experience
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development
- Ensure safety and adhere to health regulations
Qualifications
- Either a CDA or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education with 2 years of experience, or a Child Development Associate Credential with similar experience, or relevant college credits leading to a recognized infant/toddler credential, plus 2 years of related experience
- Previous childcare experience is highly desirable
- Passion for early childhood education and strong communication skills
- Creativity, organizational skills, patience, and empathy
