Job summary

The Learning Experience - Cheshire, CT is hiring a compassionate Teacher to support infants in a safe, engaging classroom and implement the LEAP Curriculum for early development.

You will build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates and milestones, collaborating with center leaders, and guiding assistant teachers while upholding CT licensing standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ professional childcare or teaching experience; 1 year preferred.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred; HS diploma/GED required.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and maintain current status.

Position: Teacher Location: The Learning Experience - Cheshire, CT Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday

• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state licensing and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!
