Scribbles Center for Learning in Bloomington is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher to support our Toddler Classroom. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background checks; childcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass all background checks.
• Previous childcare experience in a licensed center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in line with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities that support growth in emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept feedback, and make improvements for program quality.
• Create and maintain a clean, safe environment for all children.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet all physical requirements of the role.
