United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Office, is seeking a Tocqueville Development Officer to cultivate, solicit and steward major and planned gifts for a portfolio of 170–185 Tocqueville members and prospects. The role emphasizes relationship management and direct solicitation to secure significant gifts.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years nonprofit fundraising experience, including at least 3 years in major gifts, and 3–5 years in planned giving

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years nonprofit fundraising experience.
• At least 3 years in major gifts identification, cultivation, solicitation and recognition.
• 3–5 years of experience with planned giving instruments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Cultivate, solicit and steward major and planned gifts from local individuals and families.
• Oversee retention, growth and engagement of all Tocqueville Society members and prospects.
• Develop and implement strategies to secure significant and deferred gifts through planned giving.
