Job summary

Wexner Medical Center is seeking a TOC Pharmacy Technician to support admission histories, allergy documentation, and discharge medication processes within the hospital's care team. You will document complete medication histories in the EMR and assist with transitions of care.

The role requires an OH Pharmacy Technician registration and PTCB/NHA certification, plus a minimum of three years of health care experience with direct patient care preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active OH Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician registration, PTCB/NHA certification.
• Three years of relevant health care experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, with direct patient care preferred.
• Submit all required materials for registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician to the OH Board of Pharmacy 10 business days before the official start date.
• Computer skills required in accordance with the requirements for data entry.
• Knowledge of medication names (brand and generic) and their use, doses, routes of administration, and frequency at the time of hire or within ninety days of hire.
