Job description

Overview

The TOC Operations Manager/Deputy PM will manage the TOC and support the client’s mission by delivering high-quality IT project and program management through the entire lifecycle. They will ensure projects align with the strategic IT vision of the client, driving effective and secure services.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities
  • Lead operations and strategic direction for the TOC, fostering an environment of excellence in monitoring, reporting, and resolving critical incidents and outages for the client’s Enterprise Architecture.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary teams, including TOC Shift Supervisors, to maintain and enhance network systems, ensuring minimal interruptions and optimal performance.
  • Plan, implement, and manage IT projects by effectively coordinating with various divisions and maintaining compliance with the client’s standards and practices.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical staff, facilitating effective project management and business-technical integration.
  • Guide team activities related to analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating network systems such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems.
  • Implement industry’s best practices for IT operations, including proactively identifying new capabilities and tools to address emerging threats and enhance service quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or 10+ years of IT experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of IT Project Management experience as a lead or a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Required certification in one of the following: CCIE, CCNP, CISSP, RCSP, or MCITP/MCSE.
  • Due to the nature of work performed at the client’s facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Public Trust Clearance is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Must possess problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  • Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range
