Job summary

Cowlitz Indian Tribe is hiring a Tobacco Store Clerk (Part-time) in Ridgefield, WA. You will handle cash, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail tobacco outlet.

Under the Tobacco Outlet General Manager, you will keep the store neat, stock and rotate products, verify customer ages, and assist with deliveries while maintaining a friendly, professional presence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• One year of retail experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and provide receipts, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain cash drawer security and perform safe drops as needed.
• Keep store areas clean and organized per policies.
• Receive, organize, and stock inventory; conduct store inventory.
• Rotate stock, display merchandise, and ensure prices are accurate.
• Assist with customer deliveries as required.
• Monitor operation efficiency and report to management.
• Maintain professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Explain tobacco products to customers and verify age.
• Address customer complaints and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with team to achieve targets.
