Job summary

Saver Group, Inc. is hiring for a Tobacco Clerk who will handle cashiering, stocking, and cleaning duties. You will deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean store environment, including tobacco product displays, shelves, and counters.

The role requires checking IDs for tobacco sales and adapting to a seven-day workweek schedule with possible evenings and weekends. Training provided and a background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and willingness to deal with people daily.
• Ability to count money and make accurate change.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and arrive to work on time.
• Ability to clean and straighten product when no customers need assisting.
• Flexibility in schedules – seven day a week operation with weekend/evening hours
• Ability to stand for long periods, frequent bending, lifting and reaching
• Background check and drug test may be required for certain stores

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures
• Follows all check-out and cash handling procedures and policies
• Keep tobacco area neat, stock snacks/drinks, sweep and clean counters
• Provide excellent customer service
• Check the identification of customers purchasing tobacco products (21+)
