Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support tobacco product analysis in a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday schedule at the Winston-Salem facility. The role involves sample preparation, analytical measurements, and meticulous data recording in LIMS, with potential overtime based on workload.

• One year of related laboratory or quality control experience.
• Familiarity with standard lab concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs tobacco sample preparation using smoking machine and wet chemistry.
• Performs routine analyses using Liquid Chromatography and wet chemistry techniques.
• Accurately documents results in notebooks and LIMS per good documentation practices.
• Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errors.
• Adheres to quality system requirements and communicates with client staff.
