Job summary

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) partners with LPE Associates to conduct Federal Tobacco Compliance Checks in WYOMING. Inspectors and Underage Purchasers work together on non-confrontational checks to prevent sales to underage individuals.

Ideal candidates are under 21 and prepared for online orientation, background checks, and data handling for FDA reporting. Travel to retailers is required, with flexible scheduling and real-world federal project experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid state ID to verify age prior to performing inspections.
• IDs will not be shared with tobacco retailers.
• Complete short online orientation session.
• Must be under the age of 21 when performing any compliance check.
• Access to a car is not needed for the Underage Purchaser.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned tobacco retailers and attempt to purchase designated tobacco products.
• Transfer tobacco evidence to Inspector custody after retailer purchase has been made.
• Support Inspectors with data entry for FDA reporting requirements.
• Willingness to testify in enforcement hearings.
• Conduct non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to enforce underage sales restrictions.
