Job summary

Saver Group, Inc in Harrodsburg, KY is seeking tobacco clerks to operate the cash register, stock shelves and maintain clean store conditions while delivering friendly customer service.

This full-time position requires standing for long periods, occasional lifting, flexible weekend/evening hours, and successful background checks. Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, STD/LTD, a 401(k) with ESOP, paid vacation, and a year-end bonus.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and willingness to deal with people daily.
• Ability to count money and make accurate change.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and arrive to work on time.
• Ability to clean and straighten product when no customers need assisting.
• Flexibility in schedules – seven day operation with weekend and evening hours.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequently bend, lift, squat, lean, and reach.
• Must successfully complete a background check. A drug test is required for Berea #2, Campbellsville, Lebanon, KY, Circleville, and Southland.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures at or above expected performance standards including, but not limited to, accurate handling/counting of cash, debit cards, credit cards, coupons and checks.
• Follows all check-out and cash handling procedures and policies.
• Keep Tobacco looking neat and presentable, including but not limited to, stocking snacks and drinks, sweeping, cleaning counters, changing trash. May include cleaning outside as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Check the identification of all customers attempting to purchase tobacco products. Customers must be 21 years of age or older.

Job Summary
