Job summary

Bluestone Johnny Carinos in Downey, CA is seeking a friendly To-Go host to deliver an exceptional experience for guests. You will handle phone and walk-in orders, ring in items in the POS, package meals, and ensure on-time, accurate pickup or delivery.

You will engage guests, upsell appetizers, entrées and desserts with vivid descriptions, and use the POS for clock-in/out, order processing, and end-of-shift procedures. Must be 16+, a team player, and committed to service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
• Previous To-Go, host or restaurant experience preferred
• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required
• English language and professional communication skills are required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge

Physical Demands

• Mobility required during the entire shift
