Job summary

Food Lion in Indian Trail, NC is hiring for a Front End Customer Service Associate. You will greet customers, assist with Go-To orders, scan and bag purchases, and maintain clean, welcoming service areas. You’ll follow Food Lion standards and safety policies while delivering fast, friendly help.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong interpersonal skills. Training provided; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Smiles, greets each customer, uses name whenever possible and provides prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience
• Exhibit behaviors that align with Food Lion's guiding principles, core values, vision, and strategy
• Ability to shop multiple customer orders using the designated tools and equipment
• Verify all customer IDs presented and observe store policies pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverages
• Assist customers picking up orders
• Performs all other duties as assigned
