Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Follow Food Lion guidelines and support customer service standards.
• Assist with shopping multiple customer orders using designated tools.
• Recognize produce varieties and assist substitutions on orders.
• Scan, bag, and label purchases accurately per policy.
• Verify customer IDs when selling alcohol per store policy.
• Assist customers picking up orders.
• Complete Accountability Form end-to-end.
• Maintain courtesy to teammates and wear uniform properly.
• Operate safely and report maintenance needs for To-Go area.
• Complete CBT and Training Aid courses.
• Perform other duties and meet physical requirements.
