Food Lion is seeking a Front End Associate to provide fast, friendly service and assist customers in-store. You will greet customers, process orders efficiently, and help with pickup orders while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to customers and maintain standards.
• Assist customers, greet them, and use names when possible to create a positive shopping experience.
• Support order pickup and ensure accurate scanning, bagging and labeling of purchases.
• Follow store policies and procedures, including IDs when selling age-restricted items.
• Operate equipment and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with inventory, back-office tasks and general store duties as needed.
• Maintain appearance, dress code and professional behavior on duty.
• Notify QA of cleaning issues or maintenance needs for the To-Go area and equipment.
• Complete required trainings and adapt to additional duties as assigned.
