Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide fast, friendly service at our Virginia store. You will greet customers, assist with order pickups, and ensure accurate scanning, bagging and labeling of purchases while maintaining Food Lion service standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong interpersonal communication, and adherence to safety and dress code policies. Training will be provided to meet company guidelines and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Follow Food Lion service standards and policies to maximize sales through great service.
• Shop and prepare customer orders using designated tools and equipment.
• Identify produce items and differentiate varieties as needed.
• Scan, bag, and label purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers picking up orders and complete required CBT/training courses.
