Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking a part-time F&B To-Go Concierge to process To-Go orders and greet Members in a courteous, professional manner. You will guide guests through the menu, take calls, and ensure accurate order entry while coordinating with kitchen staff to meet timing expectations.

This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Answers the telephone courteously and takes food and beverage orders using menu knowledge.
• Checks the specials for the day and their preparation methods.
• Communicates with kitchen staff regarding timing of tickets and service flow.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Club facilities, events and services and provides directions.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone in a courteous manner and takes food and beverage orders utilizing menu knowledge.
• Checks the specials for the day and their preparation methods (dressing, sauce, condiments and substitutions).
• Aware of the flow of service throughout the kitchen environment and communicates with the cooks on ticket timing.
• Provide callers with address, directions, and information about facilities, events and services.
• Address Members by name when possible and maintain member preferences.
• Answer calls, determine purpose, and forward to the appropriate personnel; multi-task as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous manner in person and on the phone.
• Ensure To-Go telephone greeting reflects current status and operations.
• Assist Concierge as needed while maintaining front desk responsibilities.
• Engage with Members at the desk and address them by name when possible.
• Communicate issues/feedback to supervisor that affect member experience.
• Keep work area clean and presentable at all times.
• Perform opening and closing side work as assigned.

Job description

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking a F&B To-Go Concierge.

The F&B To-Go Concierge is responsible for processing the food and beverage orders for the To Go operation. They will ensure a positive first and last impression to Members/Guests by offering a prompt, professional and courteous phone greeting, attending to their needs and maintaining the overall quality according to the standards of Woodfield Country Club.

Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answers the telephone in a courteous manner and takes food and beverage orders utilizing menu knowledge.
• Checks the specials for the day and their preparation methods (dressing, sauce, condiments and special substitutions).
• Aware of the flow of service throughout the kitchen environment and communicates with the cooks on the timing of the tickets.
• Professionally demonstrate knowledge of all personnel, facilities, events and services offered at the Club, and provide callers with address, directions, and other information as available.
• Demonstrate the ability to build relationships, recognize membership by name and retain member preferences.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of their calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department. Must have ability to multi-task.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times. Present an appropriate image for the Club and maintain a pleasant and courteous manner at all times, whether in person or on the telephone.
• Ensure that the To Go operations telephone voice greeting is appropriate for the current status at all times.
• Provide support to Concierge on occasion, while maintaining the primary responsibilities at the front desk.
• Always address a Member approaching the desk, preferably by their name, when and if possible.
• Immediately communicates any issues/feedback to the supervisor that impacts the member experience.
• Keep work area clean and presentable at all times.
• Performs opening and closing side work as assigned.
