Job summary

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, FL seeks an experienced Bartender with at least 2 years in upscale dining. Candidate must be friendly, communicative, and able to welcome members by name while maintaining a premium service standard.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, crafting cocktails, and serving beverages in compliance with all regulations. Weekend and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience in upscale restaurants, hotels, or country clubs is a plus
• Knowledge of cocktails and mixology a plus
• Knowledge of JONAS is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and take food and beverage orders, delivering exceptional service
• Build relationships with members by name and tailoring service to preferences
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with regulations
• Suggest items to personalize dining experiences and upsell when appropriate
• Prepare cocktails using fresh ingredients and high-quality techniques
• Maintain a welcoming and polished atmosphere in all service areas

Job description

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Bartender. We are considering candidates with at least 2 years of prior experience working within an upscale restaurant, hotel or resort environment. Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills are a must and knowledge of JONAS is a plus. Bartenders are responsible for food and beverage and service knowledge, serving meals to members in our restaurants and providing an exceptional dining experience.

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

• The bartender is responsible for greeting patrons, processing their food/beverage orders, and maintaining the overall environment according to the standards of Woodfield Country Club.
• Demonstrates the ability to build relationships, recognize membership by name and retain member preferences.
• Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including but not limited to wine, draft beer, bottled beer, liquor, etc.
• Takes food and/or beverage orders from members and their guests, offering suggestions to personalize and customize the dining experience for each patron.
• Practices mixology using prepared and fresh ingredients to make high quality cocktails and other beverages.
• Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.

Requirements

• Excellent service orientation
• 2 years of experience Bartending
• Excellent communication and service skills
• Previous experience in a upscale restaurant, hotel, or country club environment
• Knowledge of JONAS, preferred
