Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel in Missouri is seeking a Restaurant Cashier to join a fast-paced team. You will welcome guests, guide menu choices, and handle payments with accuracy while maintaining high service standards.

The role is an evening shift (5:30pm–2:30am) with pay of $14 per hour plus tips. Starting salary can reflect up to $20 per hour in total compensation; benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to operate a POS system or adding machine and make change.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determines guest needs and suggests products to enhance service and meet sales goals.
• Assists guests in menu selections and packages orders according to recipes and standards.
• Operates electronic cash register to account for payments and transports monies as needed.
• Maintains day-to-day activities to ensure service, quality, and cashiering duties remain sanitary and effective.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality in all company matters.

As a Restaraunt Cashier, you will:

Shift: 5:30pm - 2:30am | Pay: $14 per hour + tips

• Determines guest needs and suggests products to enhance service and meet sales goals.
• Assists guests in their menu selections and packages guest orders according to established recipes and outlet standards.
• Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions; transports monies to and from the main Credit cage.
• Responsible for completing all day-to-day activities in work areas to maintain service, product quality, and cashiering responsibilities in a sanitary, safe, and effective manner.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
