Job summary

State of TN/TN DOT is seeking a motivated IT Deployment Team member in Nashville to deliver, install, and configure laptops across multiple TDOT locations. You will prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment and maintain accurate deployment records.

The role requires travel to TDOT sites across Tennessee, with expenses reimbursed per state guidelines. A high school diploma is required, with technical certifications a plus; valid driver's license and strong communication

Qualifications

Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver, install, and configure computers.
Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment.
Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and status.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely.
Follow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activities.
Communicate effectively with end users and team members.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areas.
Travel to different TDOT sites as required, including travel across the state of Tennessee (travel expenses reimbursed by state guidelines).
