Job summary

LifeStance Health is expanding TMS services in New Jersey and seeks a psychiatrist with interest in TMS, committed to teamwork and patient outcomes. Training in TMS will be provided if needed, with a mix of in-person clinic days for mapping visits and telehealth assessments as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will supervise the TMS technician, co-sign daily notes, and coordinate care with referring clinicians, while enjoying autonomy and a supportive practice culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with TMS is valued but not required.
• Participate in training to develop TMS skills if not experienced.
• Commit to at least two in-person clinic days per week for mapping/remapping visits.
• Oversight of the TMS technician and daily treatment notes.
• Represent the TMS program to clinicians and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments (in person or via telehealth).
• Confirm diagnoses and document medical necessity using AMD templates.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust protocols as needed.
• Provide discharge summaries to the primary/referring psychiatric clinician.
• Oversee the TMS program and be available for clinical questions.
