Job summary

ES Utilities South Dakota-USA is seeking an Assembly Technician in Watertown, SD, to perform repetitive assembly and adjustments of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment safely.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally 0-2 years of manufacturing experience. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) matching program.

What you’ll do

• Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures.
• Perform repetitive assembly and adjustments of electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic equipment according to instructions.
• Manufacture fiberglass components to specifications.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in 5S standards.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and problems.
• Follow and promote The Terex Way values.

What you’ll bring

• 0‑2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and 40‑100 lbs with assistance or lifting equipment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and proficiency with most hand tools.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Recognition of potential safety hazards and proactive risk mitigation.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, order acknowledgements, engineering drawings, and written instructions.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude and contribution to group goals.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $21.00–$22.50 per hour, based on education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
