The Stronghold Companies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee instrumentation and electrical projects in La Porte, Texas. This role encompasses full lifecycle execution of I&E projects, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Applicants should have a strong background in industrial construction, with 7+ years of experience and at least 5 years in project management. The position involves managing schedules, budgets, and compliance with safety standards while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the full lifecycle execution of instrumentation and electrical (I&E) projects within petrochemical, refining, and industrial facilities. This role oversees multiple projects and field teams, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

This job operates in a petrochechemical/refinery environment. Exposure to cold working conditions during winter months and hot working conditions during the summer months; exposure to noise, workers must wear protecting hearing equipment or frequently shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. In an emergency situation, exposure to hazardous chemicals may occur and the use of a respirator is required. All employees are required to be fit tested for the various respirators used as well as the ability to successfully pass a pulmonary function test (PFT).
Typical days and hours of work are variable/project dependent. Over‑time work is common and may be required as job duties demand.
Extensive travel required across the United States, including extended stays at project sites.
