Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a Junior Rangers Club Leader to supervise and mentor TK and Junior Rangers in a safe, outdoor summer setting. This on-site role supports clubs of up to 10 participants and works with a site coordinator and community liaison to run engaging, age-appropriate activities.

The role entails attending staff training, ensuring safety, and coordinating with other staff to showcase participant accomplishments.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months supervising a group of young children.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for participants.
• Develop age-appropriate, engaging activities.
• Monitor attendance and engagement, report as needed.
• Coordinate with Site Coordinator and staff for events.
• Attend training and support field trips when required.
