Job summary

Ardán Title Examiner role involves examining public records, preparing title commitments, and identifying title issues to insure clear title. You will research title plant software, interpret chain of title, and communicate findings to clients and management.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least four years in the industry, with strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills. This position emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and adherence to policy procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; specialized software training desirable.
• Minimum four years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of title searching software and underwriting guidelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze records and identify title defects.

Responsibilities

• Examine title orders to determine insurability.
• Prepare title commitments per procedures.
• Research title plant software and evaluate records.
• Explain chain of title, exceptions and requirements.
• Identify title defects and propose curative actions.
• Assess risks and communicate with managers/underwriters.
• Maintain daily production and timely options delivery.
• Assist customers and management with questions.
• Participate in special projects.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
