Proposal Manager - Remote

The Role

The Proposal Manager will develop tailored proposal responses for federal, municipal, educational, healthcare, and private sector opportunities. The role involves managing multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring compliance with all RFP requirements, and leading the proposal development process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in a related field
• Experience managing complex proposals
• Ability to produce detailed fixed-price estimates using RS Means or similar resources
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods
• Experience supporting a general contractor is a plus
• Strong skills in adaptability, integrity, teamwork, innovation, attention to detail, and communication
• Proficiency with desktop publishing, graphics software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field (highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development, including research, writing, graphics, and strategic themes
• Ensure compliance with all solicitation requirements and deadlines
• Coordinate with technical and project staff for information gathering
• Manage proposal schedules and team collaboration
• Support proposal presentations, BAFOs, and clarifications

Some travel may be required. The role involves working in an office environment, sitting at a desk, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Compensation ranges from $86,100 to $133,035, based on experience and other factors.
