Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Title Production Manager in Franklin, Indiana. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire title production process, including: typing production, final policy production, and search and examination. The role ensures accuracy, loss prevention, and a consistent flow of title production.
Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Enter residential and commercial orders in the journal, conduct searches, and examine courthouse records including: the Recorder’s, Auditor’s, Treasurer’s, and Assessor’s Offices, as well as all Courts of the County, preparing files for the customer and/or closing.
- Designate the Underwriter and assess the distribution to third-party search vendors, ensuring timely completion.
- Visit and establish contact with Courthouses to search property records and obtain copies of taxes, chain of title, judgments, and examine transfer books.
- Evaluate the need for further research of all found documents using accessible public records websites.
- Document all information found pertaining to the search or insured real estate on an exam form.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Members, Customers, and Team Members, solving problems as needed.
- Prepare commitments, conduct searches, and handle document preparation and distribution to customers.
- Record documents using electronic filing, physical files, or mailing methods.
- Supervise the daily operations of the Title Support Associates, including performance management, training, and fostering Centra’s vision, mission, culture, and core values.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate's Degree in a related field.
- Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
