W3Global is seeking a detail-oriented Title Insurance Underwriter or Attorney to join our Dane County underwriting team in Madison. The role focuses on underwriting title policies, reviewing complex real estate transactions, and providing legal guidance to clients and internal staff.

Candidates should have experience in title insurance or real estate law, a degree in business or real estate for underwriters or a JD for attorneys, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in title insurance underwriting or real estate law preferred.
• Underwriter: degree in business or real estate; Attorney: JD from accredited school.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review real estate documents and title commitments to identify title issues.
• Draft and underwrite title insurance policies for residential and commercial properties.
• Advise clients, agents, and staff on title, escrow, and underwriting matters.
• Collaborate with closers, examiners, and escrow officers to ensure compliant transactions.
• Research real estate laws and regulations affecting title insurance.
• Participate in training and continuing education programs.
