NexGen Title in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Title Insurance Underwriter to support commercial real estate transactions. The candidate will review title searches, draft title commitments and policies, and work closely with real estate attorneys, lenders and paralegals in a collaborative office setting.

The role requires at least 5 years of underwriting experience, proficiency with SoftPro, and outstanding communication and organizational skills.

• Title Insurance Underwriter

Attorney-owned commercial title agency in Norfolk, Virginia has an opening for a licensed title insurance underwriter. Must have at least 5 years’ experience with title insurance underwriting, interpreting title searches, and preparing title commitments and policies. Must be comfortable working in a tightly-knit office team environment, and regularly collaborating with real estate attorneys, commercial lenders and paralegals. Paid time off, benefits program, 401k and parking provided. Downtown Norfolk office location, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm M-F. Very progressive company with great working conditions in a beautiful contemporary office space.
