Job summary

Cumberland University is seeking a Title III Project Director with strong project management experience to lead the Title III Grant. The role reports to the Associate Provost and requires ensuring alignment with USDE requirements and university policies.

You will manage day-to-day tasks, monitor progress, and oversee budgeting and reporting to maximize grant impact. The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) and demonstrated supervisory and grant management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience in student advising, instructional technology, and retention programming is valued.
• Supervisory and project management experience required; grant management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Title III Grant per federal regulations and university policies.
• Manage day-to-day tasks, monitor progress and provide project oversight.
• Integrate the grant into normal university administrative processes.
• Maximize grant impact to strengthen the university and meet KPIs.
• Adjust timelines as needed and coordinate with an external evaluator.
• Oversee the grant budget and all financial disbursements.
• Maintain records and prepare USDE required submissions, including Interim and Annual Progress Reports.

Cumberland University is seeking a Title III Project Director in order to secure a professional with strong experience in project management. The Title III Project Director will manage day-to-day tasks and monitor project progress. The Title III Project Director will have full authority and autonomy to administer the project, manage the budget, and assess achievement of the project.
