Job summary

Lamar County School District seeks a Title I Tutor to work in the classroom, assisting with lesson delivery and targeted student support. The tutor will collaborate with teachers to determine appropriate interventions and will document student progress throughout the school year.

Primary responsibilities include one-on-one and small-group instruction, maintaining accurate service records for up to 19 hours per week, and upholding attendance and district mission guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Passing scores on Work Keys test or completion of 48 college credits.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group instruction
• Provide documentation of student progress
• Work with teacher(s) to determine appropriate interventions
• Maintain required documentation of services provided up to 19 hours per week
• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
• Supports the Lamar County School District Mission Statement
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
