Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a Tutor for Title I support, 25 hours per week in a part-time capacity. The role is to guide and assist students within an elementary or secondary learning environment under school supervision.

The tutor prepares instructional materials, delivers lessons, monitors progress, and supports a safe, positive learning environment in alignment with Board policies. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials to support active learning.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and address individual needs.
• Provide supervision to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
