Job summary

Nampa School District is seeking a Title I Para Professional to support teachers and students through small group and individual instruction within the Schools location. Under supervision of the classroom teacher, principal, or federal programs director, you will help achieve educational goals for qualifying students.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, reinforcing skills, providing tutorial help, and maintaining student records while following IEP modifications as directed by

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and Para Pro requirements.
• 32 core academic credits from an accredited university with passing grade C or better.
• Pass the Para Pro assessment with a score of 460 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize materials for small group and individual instruction.
• Maintain high academic standards and expectations.
• Provide tutorial help to students following lessons prescribed by the teacher.
• Reinforce material and skills using a variety of methods as directed by staff.
• Provide feedback on student performance and progress.
• Assist the teacher in delivering an effective instructional program.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with distributing and collecting materials and maintaining records.
