Job summary

Trumbull County ESC Girard City Schools seeks a Title I Tutor for Girard Intermediate School (Grades 4-6) for the 2026-2027 school year. The tutor will support mathematics, English Language Arts, and STEM under Title I programs, collaborating with teachers to help students reach grade-level targets.

Candidates should hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate, maintain highly qualified status, and demonstrate teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in appropriate grade level(s) preferred.
• Must possess highly qualified status.
• Must have ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with or knowledge of research-based instructional strategies preferred.
• Must have successful BCI & FBI background checks.
• Must have successful drug test results.
• Must be willing and able to carry out the duties of the job description.
• Must perform any additional duties as assigned by building/district administration.

Responsibilities

• Title I Tutoring includes Mathematics, English Language Arts & STEM.
• Provide Title I tutoring in Mathematics, ELA and STEM at Girard Intermediate School.
