Responsibilities

• Shares in the responsibility of maintaining supervision of students and providing instruction to small groups, as assigned.
• Works collaboratively with teachers of students assigned to ensure that all small group instruction addresses individual learning needs.
• Follows approved behavior management procedures.
• Maintains written lesson plans and tutor schedules.
• Provides recommendations to teachers and administration concerning student performance and achievement.
• Ensures student safety at all times.
• Follows emergency procedures per district plans.
• Provides recommendations for tutor program improvement.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records.
• Participates in training and workshops.
• Maintains professional staff-student relationships to foster respect and self-esteem.
