Job summary

American Leadership Academy is seeking a Title I Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year at Ironwood High School in East Valley, AZ. Candidates must obtain an AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card and CPR/First Aid certification. A paraprofessional certificate or equivalent test results are required.

The role supports teachers, aids in intervention plans, tracks student progress, and participates in MTSS processes to enhance student achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Copy of Paraprofessional Certificate, Paraprofessional test results or equivalent documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students individually or in small groups under teacher supervision.
• Assist teams with locating intervention resources based on data and ensure implementation of intervention plans.
• Monitor and record student progress and maintain intervention tracking lists.
• Recommend interventions and oversee action plans based on student performance data.
• Support teachers in screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring assessments to improve student achievement.
• Maintain records of interventions and progress monitoring for fidelity of process.
• Assist in developing MTSS intervention plans for identified students.
• Attend required coaching trainings, PLC/SST meetings, campus and district trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

American Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for a Title I Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 academic school year for our Ironwood High School campus located in the East Valley. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, an Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides instructional support to students individually or in small groups under the direction of a classroom teacher
• Based upon student performance data, assists teams in locating intervention resources and ensures implementation of agreed upon intervention plans
• Monitor and record student progress
• Utilizes tracking system to maintain lists of students participating in interventions.
• Recommends interventions for teachers and paraprofessionals and oversees actions plans based on student performance data
• Supports teachers in the use and interpretation of screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring assessments to improve student achievement in reteach and application lab classes
• Maintains records of interventions and progress monitoring to ensure process fidelity
• Assists in developing intervention plans for identified students within the MTSS process
• Attends required coaching trainings and professional development
• Attends PLC/SST Team, Campus and District meetings/trainings as directed
• Other duties as assigned
