Job summary

Hanes Elementary School in Irving, TX seeks a Title I Intervention Specialist to support identified struggling students through RtI processes. The candidate will provide professional development to teachers, collaborate with district specialists, and report progress to campus leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certification required.
• 3 years of classroom experience required.
• Reading and/or Math Specialist certification preferred.
• Valid Texas Bilingual/ESL – Spanish certificate/endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily focused instruction in small group math or literacy settings in a push-in model for struggling students.
• Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining progress monitoring records and SSP-related data.
• Use assessments and monitoring tools to diagnose and prescribe student needs and monitor progress.
• Participate in PLCs and grade-level meetings to support intervention.
• Engage in Title I intervention professional development and district meetings.
• Collaborate with Curriculum and Instruction Coordinators and Title I Academic Specialists.
• Meet regularly with school administration to report progress and adjust plans.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and uphold school policies.
