Broward County Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Assistant - Title I at ORIOLE ELEMENTARY in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. The role supports teachers by preparing instructional materials, supervising students, and aiding in daily classroom operations.

The successful candidate will assist with clerical tasks, safety and welfare, and follow school policies while contributing to an individualized education program under Title I guidelines.

Formación

• Must have a standard high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children.
• Computer skills required as needed for the position.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the teacher in creating instructional materials.
• Supervise students and ensure safety and welfare during school activities.
• Provide classroom-related clerical support such as daily notes, student folders, and data collection.
• Prepare and use instructional materials and teaching aids under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist with lunchroom activities and supervise nap and rest periods as needed.
