Job summary

Anywhere Real Estate seeks a Title Abstractor/Examiner in Seattle to research public real property records, review title documents, and assemble title abstracts for clients. You will interpret real estate documents and communicate with clients and team members to ensure accurate title reports.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Texas title abstracting/examination experience, TIMS/Deed Plotter proficiency, and strong attention to detail, organization, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years Texas title abstracting/examination experience.
• Strong understanding of title examination process and procedures, related documentation, and their effect upon title.
• Residential examination experience with Acreage/metes and bounds preferred.
• Proficient in the use of TIMS title plant software, Deed Plotter software, and experience with County Government websites.
• Must have good research/investigation skills and understand legal terms.
• Excellent verbal/written skills and attention to detail, excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to prioritize according to departmental guidelines, have a high level of organization, ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use various software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Acrobat.
• Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willigness to learn and grow new skills.
