Job summary

First American's Direct division seeks a NY title examiner to perform title examinations and analyze cooperative properties across New York State.

You will search public records in ACRIS and county systems, review deeds and mortgages, and prepare clear cooperative lien searches and curative requirements for underwriting and closing teams. Remote work options available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of NY title examination experience required.
• Strong knowledge of ACRIS, NY county recording, and co-op transactions.
• Familiarity with UCC searches and NYC-specific items like ECB violations.
